More than three months after Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint of millions of dollars worth of jewelry inside her Paris hotel room, French authorities have 16 suspects in custody for questioning.
According to the Associated Press, the arrests started around 6 a.m. in the French city. No names have been released as of yet, but People.com believes that two of them are being questioned by a magistrate today.
Kardashian West has been mostly quiet after the incident, staying off social media for the rest of 2016. But in a Keeping Up with the Kardashians preview released last week, KKW was seen weeping as she talked with her sisters, describing her horror, “Are they gonna shoot me in the back? There’s no way out … It makes me so upset to think about it.”
Following the incident, Kardashian West threatened to sue media outlets that claimed she faked the robbery for publicity.
