Steven Anthony Lawrence: Beans from ‘Even Stevens’ is Santa’s helper at a local mall

Even Stevens fans doing their shopping in one LA mall have been getting an extra Christmas treat this year – actor Stephen Anthony Lawrence has a new job as Santa’s Little Helper.

In addition to his festive work, Stephen Anthony Lawrence has spent the last few years appearing in films such as 2005’s Kicking and Screaming with Will Ferrell and conducting seminars at the Californian universities USC, Berkeley and Pepperdine.

In February, the actor told the Huffington Post that he was baffled to find fans recognised him from Even Stevens, which finished in 2003: “It’s really weird. I feel like I’ve changed so much when I look in the mirror. I don’t know how people even barely recognise me. But I’ll be walking down the street and people drive by for two seconds and automatically they’ll go, “Oh, my God! You’re Beans! Ahhh!” God, even I would have to at least do a double-take.”
