Discount retailer Target is drawing criticism from all ends of the web Tuesday after users of the company’s website spotted botched retouching jobs on junior swimsuit models, the Daily Mail reports.
Not just vaginas, but fingers, arms, legs, boobs… nothing is safe!
Target are the latest to use Photoshop to remove giant chunks from the bodies of models before attempting to use the (terrifying) results to try sell teenage girls swimming costumes.
That’s right. Teenage girls. These images come from Target’s Junior Midkini 2-piece Swimsuit range. We can’t imagine what they’d do when faced with an adult woman’s body.
I don’t know about you, but I’d be scared of a swimming costume that appears to eat human flesh.
When are companies going to learn that Photoshop is not meant to try make models look like some sort of horrifying alien race?
