Tatum O’Neal romances women? In an interview with People this week, Tatum O’Neal opened up to the magazine about her relationship with her eldest son, Kevin McEnroe, but it was her candid confession about “liking woman” that was her most surprising statement.
“I like women,” says Tatum, who was once married to tennis great John McEnroe. “I definitely have been dating mostly women recently.”
However, the former Bad News Bears star refuses to be categorized when it comes to her sexuality. “I’m not one or the other,” she says of being defined as gay or straight.
The youngest Oscar-winner in history (she nabbed an Academy Award for her performance in Paper Moon when she was just 10), Tatum says that at the moment she’s simply into women. “I think women are the most amazing creatures on earth,” she says. “They’re gentle, and also more intelligent than the men that I’ve met recently. I don’t have a steady right now, but I look forward to it.”
