Two Pieces of Debris ‘Almost Certainly’ From MH370

Malaysian experts will arrive to South Africa and Mozambique to examine debris which are supposed to be parts the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

“From the paint and the stencils of these two pieces, it is similar to MAS [Malaysian Airlines] airlines paint and also that we conclude it is most certain belong to MH370,” said Malaysian Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai on Thursday.

Another piece of debris was found along the southern coast of South Africa on March 11.

“There is a need for us to search the South African coast to find more debris,” Liow said. “Malaysia is sending a team there and we are currently awaiting approval from the South African authorities.”

“The coastal search will be by a Malaysian team and focused around South Africa and Mozambique,” Liow added.

Malaysia is ready to send a team there as soon as they have approval from South African authorities.

Flight 370 disappeared with 239 people on board shortly after taking off from Kuala Lumpur in March 2014.
