‘Furious 7’ Star Vin Diesel Breaks Down While Paying Tribute To Late Best Friend, Co-Star Paul Walker At L.A. Screening
“This was a labor of love. It was in some ways the hardest movie I ever had to do because the relationships that you see on film are so real,” Diesel said. “When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother.”

Diesel said he stopped by the advance screening, because it was the first public showing of the movie “in California, where the whole franchise started.”
Walker died in a fiery single car crash on Nov. 30, 2013 in Valencia, California.
Universal Pictures delayed the film after the actor’s death. When shooting resumed, Walker’s brothers Caleb and Cody helped with the production by standing in for their late brother.
“Furious 7” zooms into theaters on April 3.
