The retailer Walmart has recalled a range of their card table because it has resulted in finger amputation and fall hazards, Oregon Live reports.
The recall affects about 73,400 Mainstays card table sets. The set comes with a black padded metal folding table and four black padded metal folding chairs. Labels beneath the chairs read, “Made by: Dongguan Shin Din Metal & Plastic Products Co.”
Walmart says they received reports of 10 injuries because of the collapsing chairs. This caused a finger amputation, three fingertip amputations, sprained or fractured fingertip amputations and a report of a sore back.
Walmart sold the table set online and in stores from May-November 2013. The set can be returned to Walmart for a full refund.
Chinese manufacturer, Heshan Camis Industrial Co., built the chairs in China and Taiwan.
