Windell D. Middlebrooks, the Miller High Life delivery man, died at the relatively youthful age of 36. His family’s sorrow knows no bounds.
According to the website TMZ Windell was found unconscious at his Los Angeles home on Monday and was later pronounced dead at a San Fernando hospital.
The cause of his death has not been confirmed, although the authorities said they did not suspect foul play.
Windell originally found fame in the US in a string of small screen favourites including Parks and Recreation, Scrubs, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Cougar Town.
He was also known for his role as Curtis Brumfield in the US series Body Of Proof as well as playing bumbling security guard Kirby in Disney Channel favourite The Suite Life On Deck.
However the actor will also be fondly remembered as the ‘Miller High Life’ delivery man in the popular US advertising campaign:
His family said in a statement that they were announcing his premature death with ‘sorrowed hearts’.
The statement added: ‘Windell took his final bow and with great joy exited stage left in the early morning of March 9, 2015. It was Windell’s biggest wish that his final scene not be lived on social media.’
