The Baton Rouge music scene is down one talented voice today as rapper Young Ready was killed along with one other person in the nearby city of Bogalusa, Louisiana, on June 23.
Details of the shooting are scarce, but a representative from the Washington Parish Coroner’s Office said that one victim died from a single gunshot wound, while the other died of multiple injuries.
Officials at the Bogalusa Police Department confirmed the case is under investigation, but they have yet to identify a suspect.
Young Ready owned and operated his own record label, Bow Entertainment.
