Rohinie Bisesar: Woman sought in random stabbing ‘extremely gentle’

Toronto police are looking for a woman after a brutal and random stabbing at a downtown Shoppers Drug Mart.

Emergency crews were called to the store, in the PATH system at 66 Wellington St. W., just before 3 p.m. on Friday.

A woman had been stabbed, and remains in hospital with critical injuries.

On Sunday, police released security camera images of a suspect.

The next day, police identified a suspect as Rohinie Bisesar, 40, of Toronto.

“She is known to frequent the Financial District of downtown Toronto,” police said in a news release.

Bisesar is wanted for attempted murder.

Police warn she is considered violent and dangerous and shouldn’t be approached.
