Two Oakville girls have been found : Police

The two missing Oakville girls who had been missing for six days have been found safe and sound.

Halton Police say 14-year old Abigail Bergman and 15-year old Polinah Ouskova have been located in the Toronto area Saturday evening.

The girls, who police said had disappeared together before, were spotted in the King St. W. and Strachan Ave. area on Friday, and had dyed their previously blonde hair to a darker colour.

Bergman has played a recurring role on the Family Channel’s The Next Step since the show’s second season.

Prior to Friday’s sighting, the girls had last been seen at Union Station on Tuesday evening.

Halton police said while the teens had disappeared together and separately in the last few months, they had been brought home safely each time. The last time they disappeared, on April 24, they were found by police at Oakville GO Station and brought home the same day.

    1. There should be an investigation into the home lives of these girls. If they are being abused and running away as a result of being abused, then remove them from their homes. If they are simply running away “for the hell of it”, then submit a bill to the parents of these girls to cover the cost of the police search. Both girls at that point, should be required to do community service, spend time in counselling and with real runaways in order to understand the reasons why teens run away, and why they should STOP!!!
