Beyoncé dedicates last song to Husband Jay-Z on her Formation Tour

Beyonce put paid to speculation that her marriage may be in trouble when she thanked her “beautiful husband” Jay Z as she kicked off her world tour in Miami on Wednesday evening.

The 34-year-old singer paid a gushing tribute to Jay Z, 46, before launching into a performance of her love song ‘Halo’, despite concerning fans with several references to infidelity on her latest album ‘Lemonade’.

She said: “I want to dedicate this to my beautiful husband. I love you so much.”

Jay Z was spotted backstage before the concert and in the audience during the show but did not join his wife on stage for any of their duets.

During the concert Beyoncé praised her family and the couple’s four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, saying: “I want to dedicate this song to my family. Thank you guys for supporting me. Blue, I love you so much.”

She added: “We were driving to rehearsal today and Blue said ‘Mummy, are we going to your work?’ And it reminded me that I dreamed of this day my whole life.”

Beyoncé also paid tribute to Prince, who passed away suddenly last week at the age of 57, by singing the music icon’s song ‘Purple Rain’.
