But according to the ad, it’s worth it. Not only will you be making a significant donation to help others, everything will taste better.
“Your mum’s amazing lasagne… better! Your boyfriend’s gross lasagne… better! Chicken Caesar Salad… better! Hungarian Goulash… better! But why stop there?” McDonald’s asks, “Cupcakes, ice cream, macaroni jewelry, fish oil capsules.” Well…probably not.
But if you aren’t equipped to shell out thousands of dollars for a condiment, some lucky customers will be able to buy smaller containers at 950 locations across Australia for 50 cents apiece.
No word yet on if that deal will be rolled out in other countries but there is one other promotion that plenty of people can take advantage of:
From February 2 through Valentine’s Day, participating locations will allow certain customers chosen at random to pay with lovin’ – that includes selfies, highfives, hugs and just about anything else you can think of without crossing any inappropriate lines.
