Housewives Heather Quitting: Star Heather Thomson quits Real Housewives of NYC because of too many fights ‘Report’

Heather Thomson Confronts Rumors About Quitting Real Housewives Of New York; Behind-The-Scenes In Turks And Caicos!.

Us Weekly reports Heather no longer feels the Bravo TV show is “a good fit” for her image as both an individual and a business owner. She is said to have signed on to the current season of “RHONY” to promote her business, Yummie Tummie, and spend time with best friend Carole Radziwill. Unfortunately thus far, Season 7 has centered on a lot of drama and “ridiculous fights,” which Heather had no desire to partake in. Sources tell the publication many of the scenes involving her business were edited out in favor of the fight scenes and she is not happy about it. Rather than continue on with the drama Heather “is making the choice to walk away.”

“The cons of doing the show far outweigh the pros at this point, and what the show has become don’t fit what she wants to be doing,” the source said. “She did it to promote her business and it devolved into ridiculous fights over the ridiculous antics of some unstable women.”

Heather has spent much of Season 7 at odds with the other “Housewives” stars. During episode 15, which aired July 14, she and longtime friend LuAnn de Lesseps clashed after the countess and fellow cast member Ramona Singer invited strangers back to the ladies’ Turks and Caicos vacation home. Prior to that incident she has had issues getting along with Bethenny Frankel, who returned to the show after a lengthy hiatus.

Neither Thomson nor Bravo has addressed her rumored departure from the series. Season 7 will continue next Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.

    1. I am so proud of you Heather for taking the high road. You are a better than good business woman and please do not change. Us that need Yummmie Tummie need you.

    2. Very proud of you as well Heather. Hopefully Carol will follow. You are extremely smart, successful and have too much class to be on a show like this. Resume your regular life and leaves these CRAZY MIXED UP LADIES behind. Your better than all of them.
