Miss Beverly Hills Chanelle Riggan managed some do-it-yourself repairs to her pink bikini after it let her down as she walked to the front of the stage during the Miss California USA Contest.
The crowd urged her to keep going and gave her a cheer as she gripped her bikini straps behind her back and attempted to cover up.
Despite the malfunction, she smiled and kept going, getting through that stage of the contest and was eventually named fourth runner-up.
After the incident, she wrote on social media: “So tonight I accidentally ripped my bikini top off and flashed an entire online broadcast and audience at the Miss California USA pageant.
“But on top of that I also received fourth runner up at Miss California USA 2015, my first time ever competing at a state level competition out of 120 of truly the most beautiful women in the state.
“I still cannot believe I made it to the top five.
