No Charges For Caitlyn Jenner? Star will probably not face felony charges for deadly Malibu crash

Caitlyn Jenner will more than likely not face felony charges stemming from a violent crash that killed a 69-year-old California woman earlier this year.

The Olympic gold medallist (65) was driving a black Escalade in February when she crashed into the back of a Lexus, which killed a 69-year-old woman, Kim Howe.

Police are now recommending to prosecutors that the charges are a “misdemeanor” at best, according to documented obtained by TMZ.

The report shows that no alcohol or drugs were involved, nor was she on her phone at the time.

Another driver and members of Ms Howe’s family have filed civil suits against Jenner.

“It’s unlikely Caitlyn will spend one day behind bars, because the maximum penalty for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter is one year in jail. Caitlyn’s driving record is essentially clean, and she has no prior criminal history,” a source close to the investigation told Radar Online.

Following the crash, Caitlyn, then known as Bruce, offered her sympathies to the family of the crash victim.

“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident,” she said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

“It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”
