Ottawa Man nabbed for speeding, impaired driving

An Ottawa man will have a lot less cash for Christmas after being nailed for speeding and impaired driving on the weekend.

Police say at approximately 2:40 a.m., a patrol officer stopped the vehicle – which was travelling 152 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

Shane Fagan, 33, is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving over the legal blood-alcohol limit.

Fagan had his driver’s license suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for 7 days.
