Gillian Jacobs : Actress Joining Season 4 of “Girls”

According to a report from TV Line, former Community star Gillian Jacobs will play a recurring role on Season 4 of Girls.

While we don’t know yet what her character’s plot arc will be, we know her name is Mimi-Rose Howard and that she will make her first appearance in Episode 5. The episode’s name: “Mimi-Rose.” How fitting.

This is awesome news because Community dipped in quality quite dramatically at the end there, but Girls is still a good show and it’ll be great to see Jacobs flex her dramedy chops. She’s more than capable of it as evidenced by her work on Community as well as a whole bunch of indie films in which she played a variety of prostitutes, strippers, and otherwise downtrodden women.

Anyway, more importantly, this is great news because we all want Gillian Jacobs to keep getting roles because Gillian Jacobs is great. If you don’t like her then you’ve Britta’d liking Gillian! Haha! Remember that show?
