Filmmakers will be delighted to hear that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have once again teamed up with HBO to launch a new ‘Project Greenlight’ aimed at finding the next best first-time director.
In a promotional video, Damon says, “This time around we’re looking to identify an incredibly talented first-time director.”
Affleck adds, “The winning candidate will lead a Hollywood-vetted script from pre-production to casting through principal photography and on to post-production.”
“We will mentor and guide you through the process of making this film,” Damon explains, adding, “There’ll be some veteran producers working alongside with you.”
Afflect continues jokingly, “So you won’t have to just rely on us.”
